As part of our commitment to the green transition, we help our customers meet increasing requirements for CO₂ reporting across the supply chain. Requirements for data and documentation throughout the value chain are continuously evolving. As a result, more companies need detailed knowledge about the materials and production processes that form part of their products.
At BIRN, we work systematically with data from our production. This knowledge can form part of our customers’ data foundation and support
their work with CO₂ footprints, product data and sustainability reporting.
We help provide the relevant data foundation
As a manufacturer of cast iron components, BIRN has access to data from a range of the processes that the components undergo at our facilities.
Depending on the product and the specific need, we can help identify and provide relevant data from selected parts of the production process. This may, for example, include information on raw materials, casting, energy consumption, machining and surface treatment, where the necessary data is available.
Advice based on the specific need
The need for CO₂ data varies from company to company. Our advice is therefore based on the specific request rather than a standardised solution.
If your company, for example, needs data for a carbon account, a product analysis or other documentation, BIRN can help clarify which relevant information is available from our part of the production process.
